On Tuesday, National Super Alliance (NASA) leader Raila Odinga also visited Kirubi during which he had a conversation with him on what he wants his legacy in Kenya to be.

Speaking during his visit to Mr Kirubi's home, Raila divulged that he yearns to leave a legacy where all Kenyans live together in peace and unity.

Responding to Mr Kirubi's question, what he (Raila) wants Kenyans to know his legacy is, the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) leader explained: "If I can make the contribution within the next few years to create a condition in this country where people will not feel like strangers in their own country and that their name will not be a curse but a blessing.

"That every Kenyan will be free to move around the country and be able to live out their potential. I will feel that I have lived a useful life in our country. I want to live a legacy of one united Kenya," Mr Odinga asserted.

Reiterating the NASA leader's sentiments, Mr Kirubi expressed: "The media should understand that your legacy is Kenya."

The flamboyant businessman has been in the United States since November 2017, where he had flown for medical treatment.

Through a statement issued in March 2018, by one of his companies, Centum Limited, the media has learnt that he (Kirubi) is responding well to medication.
