Students of Moi Girls School Nairobi return to the institution on Sunday after a one week-break that followed a shocking rape incident.
With the school's board having been dissolved, a 9-member interim board led by Nairobi Education Regional Coordinator John Ololtuaa will be in charge as Florence Omusula serves as Acting Principal.
A program released by the CS Amina Mohamed-led Ministry of Education indicated that students would have to report by 2 pm and would be registered on arrival.
The students were directed to be accompanied by their parents and guardians who will be allowed to inspect the dormitories until 3 pm.
Following the traumatizing incident in which one girl was raped and two others attacked by unknown men, all students will undergo a guidance and counselling programme.

A meeting will also be held involving parents, the Teachers Service Commission (TSC) and the Ministry of Education.
They are expected to discuss the state of the school and rising concerns on the safety of students, with a dormitory fire in 2017 having killed nine students.
Mohamed also established a team tasked with developing a policy to address sexual and other abuses in schools.
On the team are sexual and gender based violence experts, forensic, pathology and safety in education practitioners who will craft a learner protection policy meant to be enforced in schools nationwide.
Learning at the school will resume on Tuesday.
