Nairobi Women Representative Esther Passaris on Tuesday caused a stir on Twitter after a video emerged of her cycling along the Nairobi streets accompanied by her security team.
The ODM legislator expressed her excitement after riding to parliament buildings in a bid to promote cycling as an alternative means of transport.
The Adopt-a-light founder exclaimed: "Feeling elated for a successful ride from my home to Parliament this afternoon.
"Admittedly, cycling in Nairobi is a daunting task loaded with many risks, but that shouldn't be the case," Passaris affirmed.

In the video shared on Twitter, the lawmaker braved Nairobi traffic as she rode from her residence in Kitusuru to Parliament buildings to attend the afternoon sittings.
This is noted to be Passaris' second time to ride in the city in a campaign to promote cycling.
On Saturday, Passaris was among the participants of a female cyclists competition where they rode from Kenyatta Ave to Panari Hotel on Mombasa Road and back to the CBD in under 45 minutes.
Speaking in her Twitter platform, Passaris revealed that her action was in line with her objective to understand the challenges of cycling in the city with a view to lobby policymakers at the county and national levels to create dedicated cycling lanes.
The Nairobi county government has been accused of dragging its feet in efforts towards ending the city's traffic menace.
Netizens were quick to share the video most of them acclaiming the lawmaker for her efforts to understand the hardships the common mwananchi goes through.
