Barack Obama’s Photo That Got Sonko Badly Trolled

A photo of former US President Barack Obama and President Uhuru Kenyatta has got Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko badly trolled by netizens.

In the picture, Sonko is standing in the background alone behind Dr Ouma Obama, President Obama, Mr Kenyatta, Deputy President William Ruto and Foreign affairs CS Amina Mohamed.

The portrait was taken during a photo session at the State House.

Judging from the looks of it the governor was not meant to be in the photo.

Netizens inquired why he did not move away like other government officials to create room and further Kenyans wondered why he had been left out of the photo.

Obama arrived in the country on July 15 for a 2-day tour.

He held a meeting with Uhuru and ODM leader Raila Odinga where they talked about support for youth development and the Obama Foundation.

On Monday, he launched the Sauti Kuu Youth Center in Siaya County, a project initiated by his sister Auma.

He has since left the country for Johannesburg, South Africa where he is set to issue a speech in 100th Anniversary of Nelson Mandela alongside Odinga.
