What’s even more exciting is the talent hunt that will take place at Pride Inn, Shanzu on July 20th.

Just like the two previous editions, youth will get a chance to showcase their talents in three categories that are up for grabs namely; musician, deejay and hypemaster.

Musicians must be ready with their own original songs and be willing to have one song recorded in collaboration with one of the artists slated to perform at the Twaweza Live concert. The collaboration will be produced by the legendary Eric Musyoka aka Musyox of Decimal Records, and will be launched live on stage at the concert.

On July 27, residents will get to attend a free medical camp set up at Mwembeni Bush in Shanzu.

The medical camps will offer free optical, diabetes, dental and hypertension checks. Minor optical and dental procedures will be performed on the ground, with more serious cases referred to the most suitable health facilities.

Nutritionists will also be available to advise on best dietary practices.

On the same day, all roads will lead to the Mombasa Sports Club for the BLAZE BYOB summit where Blazers will access different mentors who are professionals in their field of passion.

The summit is pivotal because it will be the platform with which blazers will be auditioned for the BYOB TV show that is coming soon.

Saving the best for last is the Twaweza Live Concert which has proved to be quite the crowd puller.

It’s planned to take place at Mombasa Sports Club on July 28 and will be handled by leading events company MoSound.
