NTV news anchor Dennis Okari stirred up a storm on social media after posting a photo of himself applying makeup in the studio.
Through his Instagram account, the investigative journalist, who recently took over the prime time news desk with co-host Olive Burrows, faulted his workmate Trevor Ombija for not alerting him on the preparations that a new person goes through before going on air live.
"Trevor forgot to tell me about this makeup thing. Now I have to learn how to do it," he wrote.

Kenyans online could not contain themselves with laughter as one quipped; "Slay king manenos."

"Bro the world is moving too fast. Naona pia wanaume wataingia (even men will start visiting) Best Lady stores to purchase beauty make up kits," one Kenyan noticed.
"Is a NO! umama nayo," one user wrote while another was more interested in having the makeup applying skills transferred to her; "Teach me once you become an expert."
However, it was Ombija's hilarious response that left many users' ribs tickled.
"Just 'sprinkle' it on your face which for you starts from uko nyuma (your neck)... @mark_masai would know! Watu wa limited hair use a little more makeup I guess coz of the natural reflector ama namna gani my fren?" he commented.
"You clearly know why I'm laughing. Hapa umeweza 10/10," a user reacted to the joke.
At which point Trevor added: "Wacha nikushow @dennisokari anatuonyesha mambo hapa kwa newsroom, kudemand (Let me tell you how Denniss Okari is demanding) Contouring & highlighting techniques pia anataka concealer, foundation na Mascara haitoshi...his eyebrows must be tweezed! We decided to buy him a whole make-up kit."

Announcing the new line-up of news anchors, NTV revealed that Okari and Burrows would be hosting the Prime Time News together.
The duo has an impressive portfolio having been featured in the Top 100 journalists 2017 ranking.
