Video of Man Brutally Attacking Underage Wife Sparks Outrage

Kenyans across social media have reached out to Interior Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiang'i and the National Police Service (NPS) to arrest and prosecute a man captured on video brutally attacking his wife.

The man identified as Nzomo is said to have mercilessly landed the blows and kicks on his wife at a remote road due to alleged infidelity.

The incident that captures extreme levels of brutality against a seemingly defenceless wife took place in Kitonyoni Primary School area of Makueni County.

Sources indicate that the victim is a second wife to the attacker with the police said to have launched a manhunt for Nzomo.

The disturbing video was captured by onlookers who are heard urging Nzomo to stop the beating although they do not move in to intervene.

At some point, the kicks become too much for the lady who is seated on the dusty ground to bear and she collapses flat and motionless.

Irrate netizens have since taken to Twitter under the tagline #ArrestNzomo to demand justice following the ruthless attack.

Why? Why would anyone do this to a child? Why would anybody support this, instead of stopping it?
