Bishop Arrested for Attempting to Con Ksh 33 Million Shabiki Jackpot Winner

A man claiming to be a Bishop was arrested on Monday after he tried to con Ksh33 million Shabiki jackpot winner Peter Nyenze Mumo.

The suspect identified as David Maina Karimi arrived in Kathiani village and asked to be directed to Nyenze’s home.

According to witnesses, he identified himself as a Bishop from Nyeri with a special mission in the village.

Donned in a white turban, he claimed that he wanted to deliver a message from God to the jackpot winner.

On arrival, he informed Nyenze that God wanted him to give a tithe of 10 percent of the jackpot winnings.

He further asked for Ksh5 million for himself as ‘instructed’ by the heavens.

Nyenze informed fellow villagers who stormed his home baying for Karimi's blood.

However, boda boda riders called the police who were just in time to save the self-proclaimed man of God from the angry mob.

Karimi was arrested and detained at Kathiani Police Station as investigations continue.

Nyenze won the first jackpot of Shabiki.com after correctly predicting 10/10 correct matches.
