Opposition leader Raila Odinga on Thursday stirred up heated reactions after he emphasised that a Constitutional referendum was inevitable.

Speaking from Migori County where he campaigned for Achillo Ayacko, the former Prime Minister stated that the referendum would take place in 2020.

Raila emphasised, "No one can stop an idea whose time has come," dismissing those who may be against the referendum he stated, "as cries of a frog that will not stop cattle from drinking water."
