Hilarious Moments as Gor Mahia Players Prepare for Everton Clash

Gor Mahia players enjoyed some light-hearted moments in England ahead of their highly-anticipated clash with Everton at Goodison Park.

The teams are set to meet at 7 pm Kenyan time on Tuesday for the Sportpesa Super Cup.

The players already in England along with coach Dylan Kerr were given a tour of Goodison Park on Monday and taken through various match-day proceedings.

They interacted with locals and met fans staying in the UK, with play-maker Francis Kahata making an appearance in a video after they encountered a Swahili-speaking Gor Mahia fan.

Kerr tweeted that his players received several compliments from area residents due to their politeness and behaviour.

"This morning my players were complimented by 8 locals who said how respectful, polite & well behaved they have been," he wrote.

Gor Mahia patron and ODM leader Raila Odinga who is expected to attend the match urged Kenyans and Africans living in England to come out in large numbers and support the team at Goodison.

"Many benefits may come for many Kenyan soccer players out of this encounter. It is not about the Gor Mahia.

"It is about the many other football players in Kenya and the nation of Kenya,” he stated.

Everton are contractually obligated to field six first-team players in the friendly according to Kerr who maintained that his players were not under any pressure.
