Kabogo Drags Man's Mother in Wrathful Response on Twitter

A young man faced the wrath of former Kiambu Governor William Kabogo when he made an accusation about him on Twitter.

The former county boss had posted photos of himself spraying insecticide on his beautifully mowed lawn.

A Twitter user by the name Abdirizak Warsame then commented that the land Kabogo's home was located had been grabbed.

In a rather surprising response, Kabogo wrote, "Your family land, isn’t it? Last night was with your mum and she didn’t say anything."

The reply caused waves on the social media platform with some netizens castigating Kabogo while others thought he had responded appropriately.

Renowned lawyer Ahmednassir Abdullahi particularly applauded the politician, adding that it was an "excellent answer".

Peter Malemba suggested that Kabogo's nature of shooting from the hip is what allegedly cost him the Kiambu Governor's seat.

"Hivyo ndiyo ulitusi wakina mama wa kiambu, na wewe ukajua hujui (You insulted Kiambu women and suffered the consequences). Now you have a lot of time to kill dudus (insects)!!!"

This is not the first time Kabogo has dragged someone's mother in a war of words.

In November 2018, after an individual told Kabogo that he had been mentioned in the Akasha Brothers' drug scandal, the politician replied: "Walianza na mamako (They started with your mother)."
