George Magoha Makes Impromptu Visit at Education Ministry HQs

Education CS George Magoha was on Wednesday astounded after he made an impromptu visit to one of the offices at Jogoo House.

While touring the ministry's headquarters, Magoha discovered that most workers had not reported to work yet it was around 10 am.

Those who were already at work could not explain the whereabouts of their colleagues and this did not sit well with the CS.

In a video that has gone viral on social media, Magoha is heard warning some ministry officials over late comers.

He went on to add that he would send them packing if they did not improve.

"If I start coming here at 10am, what do you think the rest will do? Obviously, they will also start reporting at 10am.

"People have to sit and work, otherwise, I will remove them, they can go to another ministry where they can sleep," stated Magoha.

The CS urged the officials to take their work seriously since the ministry consumes most of the government's money.

"I thought I could warn one or two but now they are becoming too many, over 100 of them, you can't warn 100 people," he added.

Magoha was picked to replace Amina Mohamed who was transferred to the sports docket.
