Miguna Miguna Accuses Citizen TV of Deleting Parts of His Interview

Lawyer Miguna Miguna has accused Citizen TV of editing out parts of an interview that was aired on Wednesday where he was hosted by Jeff Koinange.

Taking to his Facebook page, Miguna Miguna thanked the JKL crew for granting him the opportunity to discuss national issues affecting netizens.

He also noted that some of his comments that might have come out as vigorously expressive, were edited out of the final interview.

"Thanks, Jeff Koinange and the #JKLive #JKL team for the opportunity to discuss pertinent national issues that affect our people and to contextualize the most recent history, even though the Citizen TV Kenya mandarins edited out some of the pithiest material," he noted.

On Wednesday, the lawyer made some explosive revelations during the show.

It was the first time he was narrating everything that transpired from the launch of the National Resistance Movement to the controversial 'swearing-in' ceremony of former Prime Minister Raila Odinga at Uhuru Park.

The exiled politician stated that out of the four attempts to swear-in Raila, three were scuttled.

He also narrated some of the experiences he encountered before he was deported in March 2019 as he narrated of a text message that he believes saved his life.

"I had drafted a text message, to go out as an alert to all reporters that I knew both abroad and in Kenya. The moment I heard the explosion I grabbed my phone and pressed send. The moment that went out, it was on social media, in the media (mainstream), NRM people were making noise and the neighbours were also making noise like crazy," Miguna recalled.
