Gov Lonyangapuo's Joke on Waititu Leaves Jeff in Stitches [VIDEO]

West Pokot Governor John Lonyangapuo cracked Citizen TV's anchor Jeff Koinange up during his JKLive interview on Wednesday night.

During the show, Jeff had made many allegations about insecurity in West Pokot.

Jeff's cousin, David Waiganjo Koinange, texted the show host and suggested that they should visit West Pokot. The governor then invited the journalist and his cousin for a tour so they could see for themselves everything that he was talking about.

The June 26 date suggested by Lonyangapuo was not suitable because the news anchor explained that he would be doing a show.

The governor rebutted that if it was possible for Waititu to move rivers, the Jeff could also move his show.

"This show moves. Didn't you hear Waititu (Kiambu Governor) saying the river can move," commented the hilarious mathematics professor.

During the show, Kenyans praised the governor for answering the loaded allegations that Jeff was making about his county.

Judging by the comments that the show's viewers posted online, they were obviously impressed with how the county boss conducted himself.

"Jeff was hell-bent on spreading the stereotype and more than once insulted the entire Pokot people calling them “primitives”! Of all the media houses and TV personalities, Jeff Koinange and Citizen TV know better the effects of a one-sided stereotypical story!" posted a user identified as Cleophas Kalekem.

Others appreciated the fact that the Wednesday night interview was different from the typical JKLive interviews, in that, that particular one did not have many political debates.

"Have you all noticed yesterday's #JKLive was very different? No politics, no insulting women and competitors, no mention of prison. The professor is genuinely happy and it is more fun watching him. The Pokot people elected a genius and who did Nairobians elect?" expressed Imran Hajji.
