Gov Lonyangapuo's Plan on Taking His Comedy to Churchill Show

West Pokot Governor John Lonyangapuo has spoken about whether he would take his comical nature on Kenya's largest comedy platform.

He, however, gave some condition for him to perform on Churchill Live hosted by Daniel Ndambuki.

The applied mathematics professor disclosed that he would be willing to perform on the show if it was organised in his county.

"If Churchill wants me, even now, all roads should lead to West Pokot every Friday. I have a hall with a capacity of 3,000 people. Or how many does he expect?

"We will provide electricity, security, accommodation, audience, goats, chicken, and even honey so tell him to come and I will perform," he spoke.

The comical governor added that since he operates from West Pokot, that is where is always available.

Lonyangapuo went from the county boss very few Kenyans knew about to one of the most popular county bosses because of his funny remarks that even left President Uhuru Kenyatta in stitches.

He first became famous for being the only governor whose deputy resides in the US, sparking outrage but his comical nature seems to have warmed him up to people's hearts

President Kenyatta once met the governor during a visit to former President Daniel Moi's Kabarak home where he imitated  Lonyangapuo's 'Kijana mfupi round' remarks

The video showed Uhuru repeating Lonyangapuo's statement as he gestured to illustrate a protruding belly before the two burst into laughter.
