Police Boss' Hilarious Idea on How Suspects Should Be Arrested [VIDEO]

Central Kenya Regional Police Commander Judy Lamet left a public gathering in Nyandarua county in stitches after she aired her sentiments on how lawbreakers should be arrested.

She asked the police to always smile to suspects in the fight against crime and drug abuse.

The commander went on to urge her juniors to constantly smile when addressing offenders and especially when making the arrests.

"Smile while making arrests, you see the crowd is even laughing at my suggestion,'' she directed causing the listeners to burst into laughter.

This was during a public baraza at Ol Joro Orok in Nyandarua County where they were having the meeting to jointly wire out issues affecting the residents.

"To the police officers here, when someone smiles at you, smile back. Do not ask why they are smiling at you," she continued.

The hilarious police boss explained that their work would be much easier if cordial relationships were fostered between the locals and the police officers.

She highlighted that cases of alcoholism were too much in the region and that the youth engaged in the vice should be counselled to change their ways.

"Alcoholism and drug abuse are vices affecting not only this county but the entire nation. I advise that we counsel our youth or else an entire generation will be swept away," she cautioned.

Lamet went on to urge the people to embrace community policing in their area to help the men in uniform serve them better.
