Orengo Makes 1 Strict Demand to DP Ruto

Siaya Senator, James Orengo, has demanded that Deputy President, William Ruto, must respect his boss President Uhuru Kenyatta.

Speaking during the official opening of Kipaji Talent Center in Rarieda Constituency, Orengo stated that the Deputy President must learn not to undermine the head of state.

This comes after some of the team Tangatanga MPs highlighted that the Jubilee Party Secretary General, Raphael Tuju, should step down.

Orengo encouraged Tuju to stand firm in his position as Citizen Digital reports.

“Tuju is a very clinical player in the governance of this country as a cabinet secretary and secretary general of the ruling party Jubilee.

Those trying to plead that Tuju can go out of the positions he has at the moment, you are not the appointing authorities. So the deputy president must learn not to undermine the head of state,” Orengo divulged.

On June 22, Nakuru Senator, Susan Kihika, was leading the charge against Tuju, with Kandara MP, Alice Wahome and Laikipia Woman Representative, Catherine Waruguru, backing her up.

The lawmakers blamed Tuju for the continued wrangles within the party, saying he should leave.

"Tuju is responsible for the confusions in the party. He is out to finish Jubilee Party and we are not going to allow it," Kihika had fiercely threatened.
