COTU Secretary General, Francis Atwoli, on Tuesday, treated his wife, KTN anchor Mary Kilobi, to a romantic birthday party in the coveted lover's destination, Seychelles.
The destination of the private celebration was revealed in a photo of the two love birds, seen by Kenyans.co.ke.
The picture captured the couple enjoying some alone time in the secluded archipelago.
Atwoli is seen lovingly holding his wife's hand, as they both cut a delicious looking white cake decorated with flowers, similar to those found in the lush tropical island vegetation.
Beside the table lain with royal blue tablemats were long sleek champagne glasses containing what seemed like a reddish-orange cocktail.
The two soul mates, who seemed to be clearly immersed in the island's culture, were donned in casual clothes, with Kilobi rocking a free-flowing dress and cornrows, while Atwoli wore a navy blue striped polo shirt.
Kilobi shared the photo on her social media platforms stating, "Happy birthday MKA (Mary Kilobi Atwoli). Dear God, from the deepest part of my heart, I am truly grateful to you Papa for what you have done in me, for me and through me."
"Only you could do! You've proven many so wrong! Counting my blessings one by one! I can't keep calm it's my Birthday. Typical of 16th July. Happiness and love,” Kilobi added.
This comes only a month after the anchor surprised Atwoli on his birthday.
During the 70th birthday of the firebrand unionist, Kilobi pulled all stops to make the day a memorable one for the COTU Secretary-General.
Flanked by Atwoli's colleagues, she brought in a cake draped in a strip of ‘COTU purple’ to a visibly moved husband at his office.
“May the Almighty God continue to bless you, keep you strong, Healthy and Happy and May He watches over you for us! Unapendwa ajabu! Happy birthday Mr Amazing!” She shared.
