Kanze Dena Responds to Question on CS Rotich's Arrest

State House Spokesperson, Kanze Dena, on Tuesday, responded to the arrest of among others, Treasury CS Henry Rotich and his PS, Kamau Thugge

She was speaking on Hope FM, where the interviewer had asked Kanze to give her thought on Monday's arrests.

"Corruption is a cancer that is eating away the Kenyan soul and we all agree that for us to succeed as a nation, we must unite in fighting it.

"That's why the president is leading the corruption war from the front," Kanze spoke.

She also reiterated her boss' commitment to growing Kenya in leaps and bounds.

"We will develop a better, prosperous country when we unite and work together as one people, as Kenyans.

"We won't be able to fully transform our nation overnight because it is a process, but with dedication and the right mindset, we will get there," the former news anchor emphasised.

Kanze also gave a brief history of how the president came up with the Big 4 Agenda.

The four pillars that will cement the head of state's legacy were arrived at after consultations with citizens, as the president was traversing the country during the last campaign period.

Speaking about the Building Bridges Initiative, she stated, "The initiative has given us an opportunity to work together as Kenyans. This is why the president is passionate about uniting this nation. We might be different in our political views but we remain Kenyans."
