Ruto-Allied MP Expresses Fear of Being Arrested Next Week

An MP allied to Deputy President, William Ruto, on Wednesday, disclosed that there are plans to arrest him next week.

NG-CDF is a body corporate falling under the Ministry of Devolution and Planning. The body ensures that budgetary provisions and offers policy direction to the fund.

Speaking to Daily Nation, Nyoro cited that the order for his arrest had been prompted by his support for the DP and constantly questioning the Interior PS, Karanja Kibichio.

"The idea to arrest me has been hatched after my questioning the interior PS on several issues that were raised by the Auditor-General.

“We won’t take some issues lying down; those thinking they will threaten and silence us will be in for a rude shock," he told the publication.

He added that bloggers had been paid to deal with him.

Earlier this month, another Ruto allied MP, Kimani Ichungwa, stated that he had also received death threats for supporting DP Ruto.

"But we are ready to die for what we believe in because long are the days where people would be coerced and intimidated," he had declared.

Ichung'wah was speaking to journalists after the Digital Innovations and Diaspora Communications Secretary Dennis Itumbi's arrest.

Itumbi had been arrested over the alleged fake letter which claimed there was a plot to assassinate the DP.
