Residents in Shock as Wives Swap Husbands [VIDEO]

Residents of Matayos in Busia County were left in shock after two women decided to swap husbands over infidelity accusations.

Speaking to NTV, Lillian Weta, 28, revealed that her husband, Kevin Barasa, bought another woman, Millicent Auma, to her home and asked her to look for the other woman's husband and move in with him.

"Nilimpigia simu akaniambia 'tafuta huyo mwanaume akuoe. Asubuhi nikatafta huyu jamaa nikamwambia huko kumeharibika  (I called him and he told me to look the man and move in with him, so I looked for him and told him how things were)," Weta narrated.

The mother of three further revealed that the man, Christopher Abwire, was receptive to the swap and asked her to go get the children and move in as soon as she wanted.

Weta also revealed that she consulted her brother who only asked about the welfare of the children and once he knew that the new husband had no objection to them, he gave his blessing.

Auma, 29, a mother of two, had been caught cheating with Weta's husband and sent away from her matrimonial home.

After he married Auma, Weta stated that she decided to revenge by eloping with her husband, Abwire, and went ahead to formalise their marriage three weeks ago.

When interviewed by journalists, both men expressed satisfaction with their new wives each stating that they had no intention of going after the other women.

"Since this woman came, my life has changed. I'm never stressed I eat on time, sleep on time and even get what I ask for," Abwire stated in praise of his new wife.

Barasa explained how he met Auma along the road wooed her and won her heart and later moved in together.

He further revealed that Weta then left him and went to Bwire's home as he moved in with Bwire's now Ex-wife.

"Sitamani hata kumfuata ama kujua mahali yuko, wacha akae huko na mini nikae na huyu (I don't want to know where she is or follow her let her go and I will live with this one)," Barasa concluded.
