Spanish Woman Flies to Kenya to Declare Undying Love for Eliud Kipchoge

A Spanish athlete in the company of her friends flew into Kenya to give support to and declare her love for Kenyan athlete, Eliud Kipchoge.

Speaking on Wednesday, September 25, Paula Cobo affirmed that she was in love with the marathon champion in the full glare of cameras.

"I'm in love with him. I wish him all the luck in the world. I would love him to beat the record," admitted the already blushing Spaniard.

Kipchoge has been rehearsing for the upcoming 42 kilometre marathon challenge dubbed the 1:59:00 where he seeks to break the 2-hour record time.

This will be Kipchoge's second attempt at the challenge that will be held in Vienna, Austria in about two weeks

Kipchoge's bid to beat the record attracted both local and international tourists who came to support the world champion.

This group of tourists drawn from a running club in Spain observed that Eliud was fated to break the 2-hour barrier in two weeks.

"You can feel the energy. For example in Kipchoges eyes are different. He's very focussed and he gives you energy," explained Nuria Martinez.

"Maybe in two weeks he's going to be the first man in history to beat the 2-hour record. It's like a crazy dream and he will live it," echoed Augistion Rubio, the Team coach.

The excited group of Spaniards later took pictures with Kipchoge who also signed autographs of the excited athletes.

Kipchoge was only 26 seconds shy of breaking the 2-hour world record in 2017 back in Italy expressed optimism in the upcoming challenge.
