Heavily Expectant Dancer Steals The Show on Citizen TV [VIDEO]

We’re just days away from the final live show of East Africa's Got Talent. Six acts have made it through the three high-octane semifinal shows and are vying for the top prize.

The third semi-final show that went down on Sunday evening was one for the books and only two of the six talented acts went through.

Uganda's dance group DNA, landed an automatic qualification to the finals after impressing viewers with a well-coordinated performance that had just the right amount of skill, fun, and innovation. The group has been a favourite for many and after taking the moves a notch higher, DNA received the most votes.

Kenya entertainment group, Spellcast stole the show with a performance laced with angelic voices, energy and passion.

The group kicked off its performance with a rendition of Oliver Mtukudzi's Todii to the applause of the audience, before breaking into a well-coordinated dancing frenzy and from within the group, three female dancers stepped forward to lead the team into a mash-up of folk songs.

Just when the act seemed to be coming to an end, the group broke into a haka dance that concluded the performance in the same impressive way it had started.

It didn't take long for the crowd to notice the expectant dancer who was leading the group's high-energy performance, which made the act even more special.

The audience spent the better part of Spellcast's performance applauding after the group pulled one rabbit out of the hat after the other.

The revelation the Spellcast's lead was seven months pregnant was shocking, especially because of the way she danced her heart out during the performance.

The team advanced to the finals after getting three yeses from judges Jeff Koinange, Vanessa Mdee and Gaetano Kagwa. Makeda Instead chose to stand by and act Peace who had touched her enough to hit the golden buzzer during the auditions.

Makeda's choice horse was, however, sent home alongside Sinaubi (Tanzania), Jua Kali (Kenya) and Mokorokocho.

The wide variety of performance was a show of the spectrum of talent that East Africa has.

Kenyans can't wait for the grand finale which if going by the list of finalists, is going to nothing short of a world-class what happens when talent meets hard work, perseverance and passion.
