Martha Karua Picks Fight With Itumbi Over 'Slay Queen' Remarks

Former presidential aspirant Martha Karua, on Tuesday, October 8, picked a fight with digital strategist and blogger Dennis Itumbi after unflattering slay queen remarks.

It all started when Itumbi took to Twitter to point out that lawyer Donald Kipkorir, who he christened as a 'slay queen', blocked him.

"Now, I know why a slay queen lawyer blocked me. So that she can do what Shakespeare in Macbeth rightly describes as..."....a tale told by an idiot, full of sound and fury, signifying nothing," posted Itumbi.

He accompanied the tweet with a screenshot from Kipkorir's Twitter account claiming that tanga tanga leaders donated more money at fundraisers than big corporations in the country.

Various leaders, including Karua, however, took an issue with the post especially the way it was framed.

In her response, the former presidential aspirant suggested that if Itumbi was blocked by a slay queen, then it followed that he was a slay king.

"Son, is it a slay queen blocking a slay king?" questioned Karua to which the digital strategist responded by asking her to calm down. Itumbi implied that calling him a slay king would mean she was a slay mum because he was her self proclaimed son.

Philip Etale, ODM director of communications on his part, wondered why the blogger had turned to insults yet Kipkorir had pointed out facts.

"Why insult Donald Kipkorir for pointing out the truth. Facts are stubborn and the truth is bitter to the guilty," he shared.
