Residents of Kavilla Village, Nakuru County were left in shock on Tuesday, October 15, after a middle-aged woman slashed her husband using a panga in broad daylight.
The woman is said to have fatally slashed her husband, Harun Mutua for cheating on her.
According to K24 Digital, Mutua was burning charcoal in the forest when he was attacked by his wife.
A chief, Patrick Njung'e, who spoke to the publication, stated that witnesses heard a man wailing and rushed to the scene.
On arrival, the woman confessed to having killed her husband and took off to an unknown destination.
In yet another similar incident that occurred on April 9, 2019, a man, Naftali Kinuthia made headlines after he marched into the Moi Referral Hospital and hacked a female medical student Ivy Wangechi to death in broad daylight.
After committing the act, Kinuthia was beaten by an angry mob who were baying for his blood.
Witnesses revealed that the medic, who was a sixth-year student at Moi University School of Medicine, was carrying out her practicals when she was attacked with an axe near the facility's accident and emergency wing.
He then tried to flee the scene but angry members of the public caught up with him intending to lynch him when the police came to his rescue.
