Watch Ruto Drive Excited Pupils in Their School Bus

Deputy President William Ruto like his boss President Uhuru Kenyatta is known to often deviate from protocol and freely mingle with Kenyans.

On Wednesday, October 23, Ruto excited Leshuta Primary School pupils in Narok County after he offered to drive them on their new school bus.

In the heartwarming video seen by Kenyans.co.ke, Ruto was granted the honours of giving them the first-ever ride on the school bus they had been eagerly waiting for.

The DP is seen boarding the bus full of elated pupils and cheerfully greeting them before taking on the wheel.

As if prepared for the 'presidential' ride, they had already taken their seats impatiently waiting for their designated chauffeur.

Ruto flaunted his driving prowess by skillfully navigating through the crowd of parents and locals amid cheers and jubilation.

Overwhelmed by the crowd's reaction, the DP is seen slightly blushing, however, his eyes remained fixed on the road.

Ruto also launched a newly constructed laboratory at the school as well as the Leshuta Market, a project of the Narok County-National Government Affirmative Action Fund.

In 2017, Uhuru surprised students at Maasai Girls High School in Narok with a gift of a bus that he later drove

It was during the height of the campaigns leading to the chaotic general election that he made the delivery.

The visibly excited students cheered the president on as he drove the bus with teachers and schoolgirls on board.
