Maina Kamanda Goes After Ruto in Angry Rant [VIDEO]

Jubilee's Nominated MP Maina Kamanda, on Thursday, November 7, night, after the ODM candidate Imran Okoth was declared the winner of the Kibra by-election, went on a rant against Deputy President William Ruto.

The former Starehe MP, in a video now published on YouTube, claimed that the Kibra people had rejected the DP despite the fact that he had spent loads of cash during the campaign period of the by-election.

"Kibra people have made the handshake team proud because we know the amount of money that was poured in Kibra and the people have rejected that money," Kamanda claimed.

The legislator further claimed that the DP had hoped to take over Kibra and symbolically defeat 'the handshake' and consequently President Uhuru Kenyatta and ODM leader Raila Odinga.

"That was the game of one Ruto to ensure he has conquered Kibra before conquering the whole country but the Kibra people have ashamed him," He added.

Kamanda further claimed that the DP had forced the Jubilee Party to nominate McDonald Mariga as its preferred candidate for the Kibra by-election just as he had allegedly done for most of the seats in Nairobi during the 2017 party Nominations

"He planted all his stooges everywhere, all these boys you see here in Nairobi they were all planted and come to the next election they will all be sent home," the Nominated MP claimed leaving ODM Secretary General Edwin Sifuna, who was standing beside him, in smiles.

The MP claimed that before the 2022 general election there was the possibility of a coalition with 'like-minded people' citing the demonstrable success of coalitions since 2022.

He further stated that the Kibra by-election result was the first step in kicking the DP out of Nairobi politics alleging that he had messed the city.

"Just imagine if you give Ruto another chance to mess Nairobi, we would be done. this is the time we are telling him kwaheri (goodbye) with your politics, you would control us in Nairobi. You found us here and we will not allow you to mess Nairobi," Kamanda added.

He concluded by sending warning shots at DP's allies who were elected within Nairobi stating that they were sure of being one-term MPs.
