Raila Allies Gang Up Against Ruto in Latest Attack

Political leaders allied to ODM leader Raila Odinga on Thursday, November 14 took to social media to respond to Deputy President William Ruto in the latest wave of political attacks.

Led by Suna East MP Junet Mohamed on Twitter, the leaders were quick to react to the DP's spirited attack on the Odinga, in which he had he called the opposition chief a master of chaos, destroyer of parties and a dictator.

Junet trolled that even if Ruto lost the election in 2022, he would still call for Raila to 'accept defeat'.

"A day after Raila is declared winner, you’ll wake up and if lucky to find a media microphone before you, you’ll still tell him to accept defeat.

"See, almost a week after the Kibra by-election, you’re still telling him to “accept defeat”. You’re not even aware he won, and that you lost!, Junet wrote.

ODM Secretary General Edwin Sifuna claimed that the DP was a sore loser who was angry at his boss, President Uhuru Kenyatta, for allegedly supporting the handshake candidate Bernard Imran Okoth.

Sifuna further claimed that Ruto was not courageous enough to face the president, hence his decision to lash out at others over the Kibra by-election.

The ODM boss went on to further allege that the country's second in command was bitter after losing the mini poll, despite having spent a lot of money campaigning.

He went on to mock the DP that he would fundraise to refund the money.

Garissa Woman Representative Fatuma Gedi also jumped on the bandwagon to criticise Ruto.
