Their original home is in Oyugis, Homa Bay County, and only moved to the city in order to make their ends meet.

"We came to Kibra and that was when I started learning music. Life was so tough in Oyugis because we had fee challenges. sometimes we could even sleep hungry.

"My parents still live in Oyugis and are very supportive. Nairobi is better because one can hustle and make some money. I used to work at a construction site," he narrated.

He further narrated that music was not his first love but he started performing it after getting encouragement from his local church where he would perform some of his music from time to time.

He dropped out of school while at Class Eight because he lacked school fees to proceed.
