Deputy President William Ruto warmed the hearts of Kenyans online on Wednesday, November 20, when he celebrated his wife's birthday with a sweet message.
Taking to social media, the DP made clear the fact that his wife, Rachel Ruto, was his pillar in life and that she was his greatest gift in life.
"Happy Birthday my lovely wife, best friend, confidant and companion, Mama Rachel.
"You are the greatest gift of my life, my peerless supporter and a distinguished mother to our lovely children. I am proud of you," posted the DP.
Rachel, who was born in 1968, turned 51 years old on Wednesday and has been married to the DP for 28 years.
Other Kenyans joined Ruto in celebrating the second lady's birthday noting that he was a great leader with her help.
"First, allow me to wish our incoming first lady mama Rachel a happy birthday.
"To you my friend and role model DP, you are a true leader. All-round fit. Solution provider... You will be the best president on the African continent... We will help you in soaring Kenya," shared Ayub Tumbo.

Rachel grew up in Kakamega and attended Likuyani Primary School before proceeding to the renown Butere Girls High School.
