Pastor Accused of Impregnating 20 Minors on The Run [VIDEO]

Police in Mwingi, Kitui County launched a manhunt for a local preacher who was said to have defiled and impregnated over 20 minors.

Media reports indicate that a couple stormed Mountain of Healing and Deliverance Church Kwambungu Chapel, looking for a daughter who sat her KCPE in 2019 and scored 306 marks.

A commotion ensued between the parents of the girl and church staff which attracted the attention of a crowd which demanded the arrest of the pastor.

Police who later arrived at the scene rescued 10 girls from a rental house nearby that the pastor allegedly used to defile the minors.

The crowd managed to capture the pastor's wife and handed her over to the authorities.

It was alleged that the pastor lured the girls to his sanctuary in the pretence of praying for them but ended up preying on them.

A resident of the area who claimed that his niece was among the minors impregnated by the pastor confirmed that the incident was reported to the Mwingi Police Station.

Mwingi Central police boss Peter Mutuma revealed that the 10 rescued girls would be interrogated before being reunited with their families.

"We are hunting him down so that he can face the law. I also want to appeal to the parents to be vigilant and watch out the kind of people their children interact with especially during this long holiday season," the OCPD stated.
