Merge BBI Report with Jubilee Manifesto - Murkomen [VIDEO]

Elgeyo Marakwet Senator Kipchumba Murkomen on Saturday, November 30, sensationally claimed that the BBI report had very few differences from the Jubilee Party manifesto.

Murkomen, who was speaking at Makongeni SDA Church in Nairobi, stated that all the government needed to do was eliminate the issues that were already implementing from the BBI.

He further stated that other recommendations would be tailored to align with the manifesto of the party in order to save the country money and time.

"It is time the government looked at the Jubilee manifesto and see what we are already implementing and what can be twisted by the Cabinet to ensure it fits with the manifesto," he advised.

"I would like to thank the president for appointing the committee so as to ensure that the issues of the common mwananchi are dealt with.

"It states that we must grow our economy by funding the youth to start businesses and give them tax holidays of up to seven years," Murkomen stated.

He further claimed the BBI had spoken about the agriculture sector and how to improve it for the benefit of farmers.

Despite all this, the senator urged members of the congregation to ensure they get access to the document and read it carefully before making any decision about it.

The service was also attended by Deputy President William Ruto and was hosted by Nominated Senator Millicent Omanga.
