An ardent fan of Kenyan football team Gor Mahia FC was found dead in a guest house in Kisumu on Wednesday, December 18.
Erastus Aduda, who had been reported missing since December 8, was found dead at Chalika Guest House, police in Kondele disclosed.
It wasn't immediately clear what had caused his death.
The office of the DCI in Kisumu is conducting investigations to determine the cause of death as the body was moved to Jaramogi Oginga Teaching and Referral Hospital (JOTRH) morgue.
His son, Vincent Adudah, through Facebook, stated, "Goodbye, dad... Rest with the Angel's. Life has not been fair to us the Adudas. But it is well with our soul. Seeing your lifeless body has really finished me."
Sports personalities took to social media to mourn Aduda including Kiss FM presenter Carol Radull.
"Rest in peace Gor Mahia's biggest fan Erastus Aduda who was found dead at a guest room in Kisumu today," she posted.
Erastus did not only support the senior K'ogalo team but would passionately also support the youth team matches.
