Moses Kuria Bundled Out of BBI Rally [VIDEO]

Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria was on Saturday, February 1, kicked out of the BBI rally in Kitui County.

The MP  arrived with Elgeyo Marakwet senator Kipchumba Murkomen while Makueni Governor Kivutha Kibwana was addressing the crowd.

Kitui governor Charity Ngilu was heard calling for the ejection of Kuria indicating that he disrespects President Uhuru Kenyatta.

"I cannot allow someone who insults President Uhuru Kenyatta in my meeting," remarked Kitui Governor Charity Ngilu as Kuria was being bundled out of the podium.

Despite efforts to kick out the vocal MP, the crowd pushed for Kuria's return to the podium.

The confrontation started after Kuria and Murkomen arrived and stood at the back of the podium after lacking seats.

This led to Kibwana cutting short his speech while Ngilu and other leaders came in to try and calm the uproar.

The MPs and the senator were, ostensibly, told that all seats were occupied, and, therefore, they had to look for alternative places.

That request did not sit well with Kuria, who stood his ground.

His Tangatanga colleagues from Ukambani who included MPs Victor Munyaka, Nimrod Mbai radically protested when orderlies prevented the MPs from accessing the main dais.

However, calm was later restored and Kuria was allowed back upon the intervention of former vice president Kalonzo Musyoka and ODM leader Raila Odinga.

Also at the event are governors who include Kitui governor Charity Ngilu, Wycliffe Oparanya (Kakamega), Francis Kimemia (Nyandarua), Martin Wambora(Embu), James Nyoro (Kiambu), Anyang Nyong'o (Kisumu) and Okoth Obado (Migori).
