Even as the recent parastatal appointments have been a subject of controversy, for the Former cabinet secretary Simeon Nyachae's family it could be termed as a 'blessing'.
The Nyachae family reaped big, after President Uhuru Kenyatta named five of its members in the 302 parastal appointments anounced on Monday, April 27.
Nyachae's daughter Judy Nyachae and son Kenneth Bitange Nyachae were appointed to the boards of the Export Processing Zone and the Kenya Civil Aviation Authority respectively.
Similarly Nyachae's niece Violet Omwamba was appointed to the Lake Victoria South Water Services Board, while his nephew Christopher Ayienda was named board member at New Kenya Co-operative Creameries Limited.
Another nephew, Samwel Nyanchama, was appointed to the Energy Regulatory Commission Board.
Meanwhile, Nyachae's elder son Charles Nyachae is currently the chairman of the Constitution Implementation Commission (CIC).
