Former Kiss FM presenter Adelle Onyango has been featured in a major French publication Le Point for her groundbreaking initiative, Legally Clueless.

In a report published on Tuesday, May 12, the publication praised Adelle's Legally Clueless podcasts, a programme that she launched after quitting Kiss 100 FM in 2019 after a 7-year stint.

In her podcasts, she focuses on among other issues sexuality, relationships and much more through her social media platforms directly to her followers.

Adelle launched her podcast in March 2019 and left the airwaves in June 2019, according to the publication, after being frustrated by the lack of dynamism in local radio.

"I bought my microphones, transformed part of my home into a working studio... but I had no idea what I was doing,” she recounted to Le Point.

Trace FM, a French-owned radio station currently making in-roads in Nairobi, syndicated her Legally Clueless podcasts in early May 2020.

The initiative by Trace FM is complemented by Adelle through her social media platform where she boasts of an average of about 5,000 streams for every episode.

"This is not all: the founder of the Adelle Onyango Initiative has also designed and sold training courses to Kenyan universities to introduce the new generation to the genre," Le Point further praised.

Onyango took to her social media platforms to express her joy at being recognised for her revolutionary role in the African radio space.

"So stoked to be featured in French publication “Le Point” alongside some really dope Kenyan podcasters! I spoke about Legally Clueless being syndicated and the tour my podcast went on last year!" she announced.

Adelle has many times before been hailed as a strong voice in the country's social sphere, having previously been featured in the BBC Top 100 Women in 2017 and also the OkayAfrica Magazine top 100 Women in 2018.
