Update: 12:50 p.m.:The results of the Gor Mahia elections as Vice-Chair Francis Wasuna has retained his seat against Sally Bolo by garnering 226 votes (58.1%) against Sally Bolo’s 163 representing 41.9 % of the total votes.
Dolphine Adhiambo was also elected the Honorary Treasurer beating Chrispine Omoga by 286 votes to 108.
Incumbent Ambrose Rachier and Lolwe TV owner Sam Ochola were elected unopposed as Chairman and Secretary-general respectively.
Reigning Kenya Premier League champions, Gor Mahia's elections were disrupted on Saturday, August 8, after officials traded blows as the results tricked in.
The club's polls that were conducted via an electronic voting process were off to a smooth start before allegations of rigging were floated by one of the contestants.
The Outgoing treasurer Sally Bolo who was vying for the position of the vice-chairperson claimed that the results were rigged as they showed her was trailing his opponent Francis Wasuna.

Preliminary results from Gor Mahia members who submitted their results online showed that Wasuna was winning with 65% against Bolo's 35% for the post.
Chaos erupted when Bolo refuted the results as she challenged other officials present. In a video shared online, she is seen tussling with other members.
She faulted the results transmission stating that she she could not access the tallies from her end despite being given a code by the election board.
Eventually she was removed from the tallying centre where the results were being relayed live.
Another position that was up for grabs was the Honorary Treasurer Post which Dolfina Odhiambo was leading with 74% of the votes against Chrispine Okoth's 26%.

The election were held virtually, to comply with the government directive against public gatherings to curb the spread of Covid-19.
The club's electoral board chairman Henry Ogoye stated that 556 voters would participate in the polls using secret codes sent to them before the exercise..
"The system will be connected to a big screen which shall stream live the voting and tallying. As earlier stated we shall be through in a record five minutes. We have done voters education and followed the club constitution," Ogoye stated.
