Interior CS Fred Matiang'i on Wednesday, August 19, made made several changes to the State Department of Interior and Citizen Services
In a press release seen by Kenyans.co.ke, the CS announced that the changes would take effect immediately
Moffat Kangi was appointed as the new Principal Administrative with Wilson Njega named as the Secretary Internal Security.
Nairobi Regional Police Commanders Wilson Njenga and his Western Region counterpart Anne Ngetich were transferred to Office of the President Headquarters.
CS Matiang'i explained that the reshuffle was done after a consultation with President Uhuru Kenyatta.
Officer James Kianda was transferred from his previous posting as Nyanza Commander to the Nairobi Region.
