Kiss FM presenter Phelix Odiwuor AKA Jalang'o on Friday, November 13, graduated from Daystar University having pursued an undergraduate degree in Community Development.

Taking to his social media pages, the media personality expressed his gratitude for his accomplishment.

"With pride, I lift your name Jehovah! In your own time, you did it. Today the 13th day of November 2020, I graduate!

"This is for you dad I know you are smiling from heaven! Mum I told you I will do it! I will always make you proud!" he stated.

Jalang'o also bagged the Dean's Award in the school of Humanities and Social Sciences.

He went on to thank the dean of the department Dr. Ongoro as well as his lecturers, classmates and the university community.

Several media personalities including his former co-host at Milele FM Alex Mwakideu, Citizen TV's Willis Raburu, Churchill Show host Daniel Ndambuki and Classic FM's Maina Kageni sent their congratulatory messages to Jalang'o.

In a previous interview, the radio presenter who announced that he would be vying for the Langa'ta parliamentary seat in 2022, stated that the course would help him understand how to manage and interact with his constituents should he get elected.

“I choose community development because as MP for Lang’ata constituency I have to be able to take care of community matters.

“The day I graduate this town will not sleep. I have achieved all this (success) without having a degree, imagine what am about to do once I get it," he added.

He however stated that he would not leave media even after venturing into politics.

Jalang'o encouraged youth to work hard in their education, as he notes that it is important and that is the reason why he went back for his degree.
