"Visiting the Pokot Tribe in the Baringo Valley was a special moment for all of us. They invited us to dance with them and shared their daily prayer of thanks," she said.

Madonna jetted into the country from Blantyre, Malawi where she was involved in a number of charitable causes including the Jacaranda School for Orphans and also commissioned a dance academy, Madame X Dance Studio.

While in Samburu, Madonna seized the opportunity to interact with locals while the warriors took part in a ceremony of signing and dancing to attract the attention of females.

The two-time divorcee also asked for marriage advice from one of the women who had gathered to watch the warriors dance, noting that she still has one shot at courtship.

"What is the secret of the success of your marriage, so that I can get it right this time, I have one more chance," asked Madonna.

In response to the question the woman said, "My marriage is strong because we gave birth to children with my husband and we also have a big house, there are also many things that make it successful."

While on her chopper, Madonna was treated to spectacular views of the vast Baringo valley and the snaking rivers of Molo, Perkerra and Ol Arabel that deposit water into Lake Baringo.

The pop star also toured Kenya in 2016 courtesy of charity organisations such as Shining Hope for Communities, and lend her voice in support of Beyond Zero.

During her visit, Madonna threw caution to the wind as she joined the locals in failing to wear a facemask despite the globe battling the Covid-19 pandemic.
