"Quick recovery to your dearest son, to DP, thanks for finding time.

"My thoughts and prayers are with you today. Your son will get cured.

"Wishing him quick recovery, be strong Hon Kimani. May the hand of God that heals touch him," some of the comments read.

The Legislator has often kept his family off the limelight. Ngunjiri is married to Ruth Muthoni Kimani and has four children; two girls and two boys.

After the visit, the DP proceeded to a Sunday service meeting at the ACK All Saints Cathedral Church Parish in Kilifi South, Kilifi County.

Recently, President Uhuru Kenyatta made a surprise visit to the home of a woman in Nyeri as part of his electrical connectivity project in the Mt Kenya region.

The President, flanked by three other leaders, affirmed that the project would connect 216 households to the national electricity grid as well as light up several public institutions including schools, markets and health centres.

Uhuru maintained his commitment to fulfill his key agendas among them being the expansion of electricity connectivity, opening up of more roads and accelerating the growth of small businesses.

"We want to ensure that every Kenyan has access to electricity both for domestic and for income generating activities such as welding, hairdressing businesses and milk cooling plants for farmers,” Uhuru stated.
