It will have three levels of commercial space, showrooms, and shops, a plenary, and an amphitheater with modern conferencing facilities.

The 4th basement will be dedicated to nano-technology laboratories and one tower for laboratories and research.

Already the institution has issued out an invitation for eligible firms who wish to express interest in leasing the accommodation tower.

"A lease will be awarded to furnish, brand, and operate the accommodation tower within a period of not more than six months of lease signing," the institution noted indicating that the building would be operational soon.

The lease period will be for an initial 15 years renewable subject to satisfactory performance. The successful lessee will manage the facility in accordance with hotel management's best practices.

Eligible operators will be expected to provide proof of their capability and experience in operating similar hotel facilities.

KIRDI added that eligible operators could also include a consortium or a joint venture where one partner must be an experienced hotel operator.
