University Lovers Found Dead Inside Thika House

Two students who are believed to be a couple were found dead in their rented house in Majengo area near Thika Primary School, Thika town.

The two were students at a university in Kiambu County.

According to neighbors, the stench that was coming from their house prompted them to break into their the room where they found two bodies decomposed.

The neighbors revealed that the lady had a slit throat while the male’s body was found hanging from the roof.

It is believed that the male student stabbed the lady several times before committing suicide inside the locked house.

Neighbors further told that they last saw them together without any signs of conflict on Sunday, March 29.

The Police and public health officials took out the decomposed bodies of the young couple and took them to General Kago mortuary.

The authorities have commenced investigations into the incident.

The new incident just a few days after police on Sunday, March 28, arrested Eric Mwenda Mutwiri in connection with the murder of Celestine Nduku, a 26-year- old who was found dead in her apartment at Kambi ya Juu, Isiolo County.

Nduku's body was discovered by her two children in a pool of blood with several stab wounds.

A lady by the name of Monicah Wavinya, said to be Nduku's sister, took to social media asking for help in tracing Mwenda in connection with the murder of his wife Celestine Nduku.

“My friends help me tag DCI Kenya to help me find this man that has just murdered my sister. He has been reported twice for beating my sister and today he has done the worst,” read part of the post.
