Inside Mudavadi's Closed Door Meeting With Kenya's Magufuli [PHOTOS]

Amani National Congress (ANC) party leader Musalia Mudavadi on Tuesday, April 20, met the National Reconstruction Alliance (NRA) officials led by Dunstan Riziki and Amemba Magufuli, popularly known as Kenya's Magufuli.

The meeting comes at a time when Kenyan politicians have been making aggressive moves aimed towards forming political alliances.

Amemba who is a politician, jumped hit the headlines majorly because he shares a surname with the late Tanzanian President. Magufuli and Mudavadi are said to have discussed a number of issues including the 2022 general elections.

"NRA officials held a closed door meeting with Presidential candidate Musalia Mudavadi where we discussed a number of issues that touch on the economy, political scenarios and upcoming 2022 elections.

"The youthful politicial leaders insisted on the bottom up approach to our economic empowerment and general emancipation of the majority poor," stated an individual privy to the meeting.

Mudavadi has hosted various meetings in the last few months as he seeks to strengthen his political clout.

On Monday, April 19, Mudavadi met The President of the Law Society of Kenya (LSK) Nelson Havi where they discussed matters touching on constitutional and legal matters of significance and their implication to Kenyans.

"Today I held discussions with Nelson Havi, The President of the Law Society of Kenya. We deliberated on Constitutional and Legal matters of significance and their implications on the Kenyan people," stated Mudavadi after the meeding.

Earlier in the year, the presidential hopeful unveilled an alliance alongside Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka, Ford Kenya counterpart Moses Wetang'ula, and KANU chairman Gideon Moi.

The four heads, who termed their alliance a breath of fresh air to Kenyans and politicians alike, affirmed that their narrative would unite the country.

Mudavdi is also said to be working on a new strategy aimed at forging possible coalitions with influential politicians who will further extend the party's reach within the grassroots region.

Some of the politicians include Uasin Gishu billionaire and politician Bundotich Buzeki and Narok Senator Ledama Ole Kina.

Amemba launched his political party in January 2021, with its headquarters situated in Ngong - Matasia and boasts of 41 branches.

NRA boasts of being a youthful party, with the majority of its national officials and founders being 35 years and below.
