Comedian Kennedy Odhiambo known to many as Crazy Kennar on Wednesday, May 25, launched an elegant restaurant in Juja, Kiambu County.
The star-studded event was graced by celebrities including; politician Alinur, Erastus Ayieko (Flaqo), Cartoon Comedian, Jacque Nyaminde (Awinja) and Alex Mathenge.
Speaking to Kenyans.co.ke, Kennar stated that his restaurant, dubbed Instant delicacies, will specialize in offering foods like biryani, chicken starter packs, beef starter packs and so on.
He added that it would also major in delivering food within Juja, Kimbo and Kenyatta Road areas. Currently, he disclosed, the restaurant has employed six individuals.
"My inspiration on creating the restaurant was to open job opportunities for my fellow young people to enable positive growth in the society.
"I believe in people growing together and supporting one another," Kennar stated.
The comedian has since been showered with praises and congratulatory messages following the achievement.
"I had the honour of opening it officially today. I feel so good when young people start investing the small money they get in businesses of their dreams. I will always support such young and brave people to realize their dreams," politician Alinur stated.
"Today I got to witness this young man launch his restaurant, so proud of him," actress Jacky Vike, popularly known as Awinja, posted on Instagram.
In the recent past, comedians and other artists have been on the spot for not investing while they still have the financial muscle.
Laugh industry director Churchill Ndambuki previously advised comedians to use social media platforms to build their careers and let their content known.
Crazy Kennar and Flaqo are among comedians who have used to platform to entertain Kenyans. They have in turn received endorsements and their brands widely known.
