An earlier message before the party, the CAS thanked God for keeping her in good health.

"God, thank you for giving me the unique opportunity to be able to wish myself a happy birthday today in good health and happiness. I pray that You will continue to bestow blessings of health and joy on my life," she stated.

In March, Shebesh, who served as the first Nairobi Woman Representative, opened up about battling bipolar disorder, a mental condition that causes extreme mood swings.

She disclosed that she fought the disease by accepting that she had it and then seeking professional help. She added that the disease almost took her life after she went through a year of depression.

“It almost took my life. I went into depression for a year plus where I could not move, communicate or do much,” Shebesh noted.
