Embu Woman Representative Jane Wanjuki was on Friday, August 13, heckled during the burial of the two Kianjokoma brothers, Benson Njiru, 23, and Emmanuel Mutura, 19, who died while in police custody.
The MP was forced to cut short her speech after mourners refused to be addressed by her.
Residents were irked when Wanjuki stated that Interior CS Fred Matiang'i was doing a good job in probing the death of the two brothers.

They waved their hands in disapproval as others were heard saying that she had not helped the bereaved family.
Every time she attempted to make her speech, she was met by a tough crowd who declined to listen to her address.
Family, friends, leaders from across the Country had streamed in large numbers to Kithagari village where they called for justice for the two brothers who died while in police custody.
Among leaders present included; National Assembly Speaker Justin Muturi, Members of Parliament Moses Kuria (Gatundu South), Rigathi Gachagua (Mathira), Muriuki Njagagua (Mbeere North).
Others were; Cecily Mbarire (Nominated), John Muchiri (Manyatta), Embu Woman Representative Jane Wanjuki and Law Society of Kenya President Nelson Havi.
While addressing the mourners, Speaker Justin Muturi alleged that the police vehicle where the two brothers were last seen, was removed from the Manyatta police post in anticipation that irate residents would burn it.
"A week has lapsed since the Independent Policing Oversight Authority (IPOA) said it was conducting investigations yet they have nothing to show.
"Parliament approved sufficient funds to the agency... We won’t keep quiet on this matter. It’s a wake-up call to police and all of us," Muturi vowed.
On his part, Mathira MP Rigathi Gachagua urged President Uhuru Kenyatta to personally take up the matter and visit the bereaved family.
"The perpetrator of this offence is well known to everyone, but I wonder why he is still at large. We have to say the truth, we are tired of such deaths," he asserted.
