Citizen TV anchor Jeff Koinange and his radio co-host Nick Odhiambo debuted the new Hot 96 studio on Friday, September 24.

The two debuted the new Hot 96 studio that was designed under the leadership of Head of Radio Cynthia Mwangi.

Speaking to Kenyans.co.ke, Mwangi promised that new things were in the offing with the unveiling of the studio.

The Hot 96 boss further revealed that they had launched a new show that will be airing on Friday evening. It will be hosted by two DJs playing throwback music.

"We have a lot of new things that we have lined up for our listeners and they need to stay tuned. The Friday throwback show with WDJ and DJ Mr Drew is just a tip of what we plan to give our fans," she stated.

Mwangi also revealed that the new studio will highly focus on digital content.

Royal Media Services focused on having a white, black and red theme for the new Hot96 studio which is home to some of the top radio personalities in the country.

Citizen TV gave fans a glimpse into the new home of Jeff, Nick, John Kyanda, Willis Raburu, Cynthia Mwangi, Patrick Igunza, Bensu, DJ Roy TeeBoy, DJ Micky, Coco So boo, Terry Muikamba and Rapcha The Sayantist.

Hot 96 unveiled the new studio as they celebrated 15 years of being on-air.

Terry Muikamba joined Royal Media Service's Hot 96, in January 2021 where she unveiled a new show alongside journalist Willis Raburu. 

Hot 96 also unveiled a new presenter to take over from Herman Kago alias Prof Hamo who parted ways with the station in May 2021.

Nick Odhiambo came in to replace Prof Hamo on the Hot 96 Breakfast Show alongside Jeff Koinange.

Nick previously worked at Radio Maisha before parting ways with the Standard-owned radio station. He announced that he will make a quick comeback after quitting.
