Deputy President William Ruto and his right-hand man, Kapseret Member of Parliament Oscar Sudi, were spotted enjoying the nightlife in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

Ruto and Sudi flew to Dubai mid this week. However, details of the mission of their travel remain scanty.

In a video that has since gone viral, the second-in-command is seen together with the vocal lawmaker seated in a patio, in what is believed to be one of the top hotels in Dubai.

The two are seen seated in a luxurious hotel that has a water fountain on one part of its facade and is well lit, a common characteristic of Dubai at night.

Sudi is, however, seemingly mesmerized by beauty of the Middle East country's city nightlife and appears to engage the Deputy President in a conversation on the same.

During their visit to Dubai, Ruto and Sudi had earlier paid a visit to Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria who is recuperating after undergoing a rare stem cell surgery.

Through his official social media platform on Thursday, February 3, Kuria shared details of the visit made by Ruto. He further detailed that he will host an event in Thika on February 19.

"Today I was visited by Deputy President William Ruto and Kapseret MP Oscar Sudi in Dubai. I updated them on my recovery progress and formally invited them to join me and all Kenyans during the February 19th thanksgiving prayer day in Thika," Kuria wrote.

Kuria has been in hospital since October 2021 after he suffered severe burns from an electric blanket he had bought for Ksh250,000.

Despite the company that sold him the blanket apologising, Kuria threatened to sue them for the pain they had caused him.

On the other hand, Ruto has been missed the United Democratic Alliance (UDA) rallies, raising speculations from a section of his supporters.

The rallies in Nairobi and Naivasha were both led by Amani National Congress (ANC) party leader Musalia Mudavadi and his Ford Kenya counterpart Moses Wetangula.

The two have been popularising their Kenya Kwanza movement despite allegations of disagreements amongst the members.
