He added that the stem cell procedure was revolutionary and would help many victims who have undergone devastating experiences.

"I am proud to be part of this pioneering cutting edge technology. I hope this will also help very many people,” he stated.

On her part, Kuria’s doctor stated that she was impressed by the progress of the Legislator who was not in a good condition when he travelled to the Middle East country.

"Today we are walking with Moses on his feet after 137 days. He is a patient who had the courage to go through stem cell surgery. It has given him life after a devasting incident,” she stated.

During his stay at the world-class hospital in the UAE, Kuria was visited by various leaders including Deputy President William Ruto and Kapsaret MP Oscar Sudi.

While on an interview at a local TV station in October last year, Kuria revealed that he experienced burns on his feet after using a blanket that was recommended to him by a friend after experiencing some numbness.

"I was first told that you connect it to the power, which I did. I connected it to power and stepped on it. At night, my legs raptured and I had to be rushed to hospital the following day," he stated.

Consequently, the National Assembly Committee on Health was tasked with investigating the company. The committee at the time stated that they would transverse the country to identify health products that had not been approved by the government.

Kuria is expected back to the country on Saturday, February 19, and will hold a thanksgiving service at Thika Stadium in Kiambu County.
